Pig’s head found outside Muslim mosques in Paris, France

In Paris, France, reports have emerged about pig heads being found outside several Muslim mosques. Authorities stated that the pig heads were deliberately placed near the mosques to insult Muslims. According to international media reports, pig heads were discovered at four mosques in Paris and five mosques in surrounding areas.

In Islam, pigs are considered impure. It has been reported that on five of the discovered pig heads, the name of French President Emmanuel Macron was written in blue. Sources suggest that this act may be linked to Macron’s pro-Palestine stance and the anger among certain groups over the support he receives from the Muslim community.

Paris Police Chief Laurent Nuñez called the incident a “despicable act” and confirmed that an investigation has been launched into activities intended to incite hatred. He also stated that authorities are maintaining high alert regarding the matter.

France has the largest Muslim population in the European Union and also the largest Jewish population outside Israel and the United States.
